Volunteer Opportunities

Giving Beyond Donations

If there is one thing our work has consistently shown, it is the power of people—like-minded individuals coming together to move a shared vision forward.

At MOM Foundation, our work is not carried by staff alone. We intentionally create space for others to be part of the journey, because meaningful impact is often the result of collective effort. This is one of the most meaningful ways to get involved.

Giving is not limited to money or material items. It can also take the form of your time, your skills, and your presence. Each of these plays an important role in how we serve communities.

A defining part of our work is the commitment to quality. We do not simply give—we prepare, restore, and add value to what is given. This often includes repairing and replacing parts for donated equipment, refurbishing furniture, washing and preparing clothing, and ensuring that every item is fit for purpose before it reaches its recipient.

There is also a place for those who support on the ground—helping with transportation, unpacking, offloading, and distribution. Others contribute through engagement, offering encouragement, guidance, or specialised support such as counselling during visits.

Because of this, there is space for everyone to contribute in a way that is meaningful. Whether through practical support, professional expertise, or simply a willingness to serve, each role matters.

There is always something you can give.
