Sidiq Agri-Firm (SAF)
Sidiq Agri-Firm, founded by Sadique Yusif, is the primary implementing partner of the AgroVators Initiative — a climate-smart agriculture programme led in collaboration with MOM Foundation.
The partnership brings together technical agricultural expertise and community development experience to strengthen agricultural education, promote food security, and build agripreneurial capacity among young people in Ghana. Through this collaboration, certified training programmes have been successfully delivered, including targeted initiatives for senior high schools.
Aligned with global priorities such as United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2, the AgroVators Initiative is designed to contribute to sustainable food systems while supporting livelihood development within farming communities and the broader Ghanaian economy.
A key focus of the programme is on Senior High Schools (SHSs), where agriculture is part of the curriculum but often remains largely theoretical. By establishing school-based climate-smart demonstration farms, the initiative bridges this gap — enabling practical, hands-on learning while supporting sustainable food production within the school environment, and fostering greater interest in agriculture among Ghanaian youth while nurturing the next generation of agripreneurs.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to long-term impact: equipping young people with relevant skills, strengthening local food systems, and advancing a more resilient and self-sustaining agricultural future for Ghana.
