As part of ongoing efforts to scale youth-centered agricultural innovation, Mother of Many Foundation and Sidiq Agri-Firm conducted a subsequent visit to Tema Secondary School, marking continued progress in implementing AgroVators’ first high school edition.

This follow-up engagement focused on identifying the most suitable site for cultivation. Building on insights from an earlier visit, the AgroVators team assessed two additional parcels of land. After careful evaluation, a final site was selected to commence implementation. The land has since been measured and tested, with results confirming fertile, loamy soil—well-suited for the project’s focus on vegetable production.

Engagement with school leadership remains central to the initiative’s success. The team met once again with the Headmistress, Lucy Okai Naih, who expressed continued enthusiasm for the collaboration. Discussions centered on student participation, institutional alignment, and the next phase of work, which will involve a training programme for participating students, followed by preparing the land for planting.

A key highlight of the visit was the emphasis on bridging agriculture with entrepreneurship. Sadique Yusif, Founder of Sidiq Agri-Firm, underscored the importance of equipping students not only with farming skills but also with practical business knowledge. The programme will therefore integrate training in post-harvest processes, including packaging, pricing, and sales—areas often overlooked in traditional agricultural education.

Through this holistic approach, AgroVators Initiative aims to empower students with the skills and confidence to pursue agribusiness opportunities. Participants will be better positioned to initiate their own ventures or access meaningful employment within the agricultural sector, contributing to their personal development, strengthening their families, and supporting broader community and national growth.

As preparations move into the next phase, the partnership reaffirms its commitment to nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders rooted in sustainability, innovation, and opportunity.
